AdjEM is the master rating — a team's projected point margin per 100 possessions against an average WNBA opponent on a neutral floor. It's the difference between AdjO (adjusted offense: points scored per 100 poss) and AdjD (adjusted defense: points allowed per 100 poss), each adjusted for the strength of every opponent faced. Tempo is possessions per 48 minutes. Everything here is a historical fit of how teams actually played — pro markets are efficient, so this is a stats view, not a market projection. With a small league on a nearly balanced schedule, the opponent adjustment is modest — this is best read as a clean efficiency & Four-Factors view rather than a big re-ranking of the standings.
